Seriously, how would that fat cry baby be better for us? He couldnt get a kick at the team that was 9th and the fact that we were in for him shows how f**ked up our recruitment is.
That Lawrie gave him 2 years is hilarious - next derby we have 2 of the c**ts to abuse (fat boy and Millar)

I'm in.

We should say to SFC if you wanted Nash or DDS again that’s fine but you have to take McGlinchy.

So instead of a transfer fee we off load unwanted salaries

So, are we going to announce any of the unpalatable signings or just hope people forget who we were linked to and sign up for a membership?

Preseason starts on Monday. You would hope we here some news before then.
Why on earth would you want the bulk of your team, in particular your best xi available for the start of your pre season?! Especially when youre playing worse football in the history of the league.
Perish the thought of putting in, let alone putting in extras..

It's cheaper to employ players at the end of pre-season. Everyone (MC) knows that!

Not exactly new news but news nonetheless:

Mariners lose club champion O'Neill to Fowler's new-look Roar
By Vince Rugari
June 19, 2019 — 12.21pm

Alen Stajcic's planned revival of the Central Coast Mariners won't include reigning club champion Aiden O'Neill, who has agreed to join Robbie Fowler's new-look Brisbane Roar squad next season.

O'Neill won the Mariners Medal last month after an impressive debut A-League campaign on loan from Burnley, scoring four goals in 23 appearances for the battling Gosford side.
Roar deal: Aiden O'Neill (left) is set to play for Robbie Fowler's Brisbane Roar on loan next season.

The Mariners were keen to keep hold of the 20-year-old but have been gazumped by his home-town team. Several other A-League clubs inquired about O'Neill's services but were put off by the loan fee Burnley were asking, which the Roar have agreed to meet.

O'Neill was born and raised in Brisbane and played youth football for Brisbane Athletic before his family moved to England when he was 14.

He then linked up with the Burnley academy and graduated to make three Premier League appearances in the 2016-17 campaign. O'Neill's existing contract with Burnley expires at the end of June, but it is understood he will re-sign and then be loaned back out to Brisbane.

O'Neill's departure is a significant blow for Central Coast, who finished bottom of the A-League last season. Stajcic signed a permanent three-year deal as coach last month and, along with board member Anton Tagliaferro, will absorb the responsibilities that previously fell to Mike Phelan, who is unlikely to continue working with the Mariners due to his commitments with Manchester United.

Fowler, meanwhile, has also raided England's lower leagues to replenish his squad after culling 14 players from the group he inherited at the end of disastrous campaign at the Roar.

One such recruit is Bradden Inman, a former Scottish youth international midfielder who is originally from South Australia and has played for various clubs in League One for the past seven seasons.

Inman, 27, was released by Rochdale last month, but the Herald understands he is set to join O'Neill in a new Brisbane midfield. Inman has previously been on the fringes of the Socceroos and was named in the squad that faced England in May 2016, but never got on the field.

Fowler is believed to have also signed five new import players, all from either Britain or Ireland. Among them are ex-Newcastle Jets striker Roy O'Donovan, who it is understood will be unveiled imminently as one of their two marquees.
