ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Be interesting to see whether Bouzanis and Birighitti both want to stay at City. I suspect one may ask for a release so that they play. Both have been coached by JVS?
I thought it was weird that last game of the season we played there.
IIRC They had their third choice keeper playing, and the fourth choice on the bench.
No sign of Birighitti.

10 or so pages back we were talking about not getting Zach Duncan and him signing for Marconi. He's off overseas now so it looks like NPL was the fallback option while he was waiting on everything to be sorted out. Doubt we were willing to give him the out he likely had with them.

Why is it those reddit links don't work?

someone has posted a translation from the AGF news.

Zach Duncan comes to Aarhus from the Australian club Marconi Stallions, where he also entered his children's shoes. In the past season, however, he played for Brisbane Roar, where in the spring he got his debut in the best Australian league, A-League.

Not sure why it doesnt work clicking direct. The link has more stuff in it than I copied over. I'm not logged in either, just lurking.

Wandrerers release Nick Fitzgerald. Don't like where this is going.
I thought we were supposedly balking at his wage demands? If we have gone in for him hopefully that means we've talked him down a bit. Then again he could be off to asia to look for some extra coin.

I like Fitz as a player but don't think he is consistent enough to be right for us now. That said I haven't followed him at City and don't have a firm handle on his progress.

Fitz did well a couple years back at City when he was only used as an impact sub.
He cut in a lot and made himself dangerous.

Much like Matt Simon would be a useful bench player but no more.

Sadly we need much more than useful bench players at the moment.

We can do worse than fitzy coming back. He was used as an impact player at city for abit then showed some very good form and had a long run as a regular.
Yes many people have a sour taste from when he left and how he left but beggars can’t be choosers to be absolutely honest.
If it’s between fitzy and majok, I choose fitzy.
