Hopefully there’s a distinction between not having made announcements yet and not having anything to announce. At the forum it sounded like there were some names they could have dropped there and then if they wanted to so we’ve just got to wait for them to be start making some noise. Any time now would be great.

Playing Adelaide was a mixed blessing, we didnt lose to an NPL side again but that took all the pressure off MM to be ready for it.

Are there any new developments there? Last I read Sydney were negotiating to get him back there but deal hadnt been done yet. Unless he's had a big attitude adjustment I cant see him coming back, but its a hassle we dont need with a strict budget.

Edit: There's been speculation about both Brillante and Brandon O'Neill getting offers from other leagues so if one or two of them go it may increase the odds of Sydney wanting DDS back.

Hi everyone, obviously there is lots happening and plenty to announce very soon. By Monday we will have updated the squad list, coaching staff additions and also of course 3-4 new players signings. Sorry to tease but we do have details that are being worked through on every item and until each one is finalised in the next 48 hours we do have to wait until we can make an official announcement of each one.
Also just to manage expectations the players announcements are not the new Visa players that are being worked on as our key signings for the year. But nonetheless they are important additions to the squad including some younger players.

I think at least some of that would have been frustration at how rubbish we were and what seems to be behind the scenes stuff with MM too. Short of injury or a horrendous form slump he's almost certain to miss some games in January with the U23 tournament and if we still have the summer of football and go ok in the tournament it could be a few rounds.

Would’ve been hard to keep disciplined/composed in that side last season tbh. Though, I see where you’re coming from.
I’m not thrilled that we haven’t been able to hold on to him, but I had a feeling this was the way it was going to play out. Just another one of our better performing players from last season now that we need to try and replace... a DM pairing of him and Karacan would’ve been nice to build around, but hey I guess we can make do with McGlinchey and Shabow... right, guys? Right?? Anyone??? Bueller?

You're probably right about the frustration. But as a pro he should have pulled his head in.
Like the game we were trying to get back into and he had to mouth off (at the linesman I think).
He'd already been booked once. He should have known better.

I agree, but at the same time we all remember that outburst from our captain, suffice to say there might have been more than a few attitudes that weren't what they should have been and there would have been a lot of factors behind it.
