ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

The bit I can't get is this.
Last season with 6 games to go it was evident that we would finish last and that the Graham desperation signing had failed.
Why wouldn't Glasso have got a run of games to see if he is AL standard? If not, fine but wouldnt you want to know for sure.
This latest debacle sends a very clear message to prospective young players in our system. If you want to develop, it won't be here.

That is the question I would have had at the time.

What puzzles me further though is the press release. It is very positive from the club towards him and equally from him towards the club. Is there an agreement to come back?

I wonder whether Staj has looked at him and thought you are too good for NPL2 but still short of the HAL. We could throw you in now and destroy your confidence or we can get you to develop elsewhere. Sure NPL is a step up - but stepping out of your comfort zone and going OS is also a challenge.

I certainly hope to see him again.

Isn’t this basically what Pink Lady said had happened?

He may be stepping out of his comfort and being immersed in a new culture, and I see the attraction in that, but I would argue this is a poor move for his development.

I don't see how he would get any more from a football learning perspective than he would in Australia.

He'll learn more out of his comfort zone than he will playing a bit part here. Great move for him, best of luck.

Going to be interesting tonight, I am going with an open mind, could be more mushroom treatment, could be laying bear their souls and pleading for support, announce some real interesting plans and how they will achieve them.

In past forums, the audience has been so appreciative of the meeting that many have held back myself included, somehow tonight me thinks applying the blowtorch to belly awaits them...

Hoping for some decent answers from management and I am sure some hard hitting questions from the floor...

Maybe he's just mates with Robbie Kruse and they've been exchanging tips. But I wouldnt be surprised if we couldn't find a suitable replacement / he is on notice to lift the keeping department.

Not sure on Nash being called upon again. I mean, our goalkeepers have always been crap while he's been here, right?

With Nash in charge ,our keepers since he took over couldn’t build a wall with a bricklayers ticket and 20 years experience

Asking about the retention of Nash and performance of our goal keeping department over the last few years would be a good question for tonight.

Whilst I totally share the mass frustration on here, we all have to understand that the primary consideration with both coaching and player recruitment is: are they cheap enough?

There is no way MC will shell out on any sort of top quality appointment either on or off the pitch - simples.

True FFC ..but Izo was the drizzling shits as well when it came to certain parts of his game that Nash couldn’t fix BUT the Adelaide coach did...amaze balls
