We should have a healthy situation where Matty, Murray and Mayok are all fighting for the bench spot unless we play with two strikers.

I think Ziggy should be the captain this year. The Korean showed signs of being a leader on the pitch in his 30 mins v Manly but the language barrier might be too big a hurdle.
GG also has potential as a leader.

I agree but think that if they are even close to having an equal claim we need to go with the younger options. We've got Murray on a 2 year deal and it makes sense to give him the minutes to develop him and keep him happy. Majok is on a 1 year deal but if Staj sees some potential might want to extend that mid season as well. We've got to keep one eye on the future and it seems that's what Staj is doing, Whether we're developing a talent to keep or potentially sell that's better business than playing a club legend at the back end of his career out of loyalty or respect.

Alen apparently usually plays 4-1-4-1 and sometimes 4-2-3-1. I'm going to assume Sang-Ho

The 4 - 1 - 4 - 1

I love this and IMO we have assuming we sign K2 an amazingly attacking midfield.... the trick is getting both Oar & Silvera to drop back and this could nean Oar coming off at say the 60 minute mark and weeMac coming on as Oar's older legs or maybe pushing Sanh-Ho out and Nisbet coming into the centre of midfield... put a decent striker in front of those four players who can all score and we are in for one hell of a season especially if we get a striker who can play back to goals...

..................... Eun-Sun...................

Silvera ... Sang-Ho .... DDS .... Oar

Subs ,... weeMac, Nisbet , Melling...

That's the direction I was thinking it would go as well although there seems to be room to move with bringing Oar in to the middle as an alternative. The Ingham situation still seems really weird to me unless it was club not player initiated. Swap Silvera with Ingham, use Silvera as a sub and IMO that was Ingham's best chance to cement a starting spot. Might also see Majok get some minutes on that wing depending on what Staj can throw his way with a new striker and Murray to manage.

At training this morning. Mumford training with the keepers. Ruon doing the stretches with a moon boot. Gg on the bike.

No Lee Sang-Ho but two that I did not recognise.

The intensity in training is definitely a step up from last season.

Have to agree on every point you made here. He has done so much for the club and bleeds yellow.

Most of the people shooting their mouth off here wouldn’t have the guts to say it to his face.
No one should have to mention it to Matty. If he was being honest with himself, he would know he isnt up to scratch.
As consumers of this product, everyone has aright to point out when it is inadequate.
Interesting double standard. You refer to Kennedy (another sub par performer) earlier this year as a 'wage thief'. I wonder if you said THAT to his face?

I wouldn’t be surprised in the slightest if Mick had said that to his face, to be perfectly honest :)

I have and gave him the advice that he should go and play for Lambton Jaffas.

He wasn’t impressed but did take my advice.

And he is no comparison to the contribution Matty has made to this club.
