ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

A few of us have pieced some things together and we think this is the same guy who never bothered to do the fit and proper test for over a year, and possibly came back for another try with Bernal but too little too late.
To little to late a sign someone else has got in front or just got dismissed because didn’t do what was necessary?

Interesting thing was total sale. COE included

Too late as he could have done it when Rich was here.

We spoke with MC about 3 weeks ago. There was no mention of another potential buyer on the horizon or that there had been any others. He's been pretty open about the current issues to the FRG. I've shared some of the details in other threads and places.

Oh look - investors ahoy..............but not for us. Slow clap

Melbourne Victory is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement with Tony Bloom that has seen him personally acquire an initial 19.1% stake in the Club, with an ability to increase his ownership over time.

Bloom is the majority owner and Chairman of English Premier League team Brighton & Hove Albion, and an investor in Belgian First Division team, Royale Union Saint-Gilloise.

“We are extremely excited to bring someone of Tony’s calibre not only into Melbourne Victory, but of course, into the A-League,” Melbourne Victory Chairman John Dovaston said.

“Tony’s wealth of experience and expertise in football is well recognised, with Brighton & Hove Albion being widely regarded as one of the best-run teams in the EPL.

“While the investment is independent of Tony’s other footballing interests, we are confident that being able to leverage Tony’s network at Brighton and beyond will help propel Melbourne Victory forward with a further strengthened capital base.”

“As a passionate football supporter, I am excited to have the opportunity to become a shareholder in Melbourne Victory, one of the most successful clubs in A-League history,” Mr Bloom said.

“My investment reflects my confidence in the Club's vision and leadership, and I see tremendous potential in the Club for further growth and success, both on and off the pitch.

“My wife is from Australia and, whenever possible, the two of us and our children enjoy spending time there each year. I am especially delighted that we now have a ‘home club’ in Australia to support. The Club’s leadership know that I am available to them whenever needed to help in driving continued progress and success for Melbourne Victory.”

“In seeking a new investment partner, it was important that the Club strategically aligned with someone who could help us achieve our vision to lead, unite, connect and inspire Australians through football,” Melbourne Victory Managing Director, Caroline Carnegie said.

“We believe that with Tony’s strategic support we have an opportunity to do just that, while not compromising our own DNA and identity.”
