ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I hope he's either a wily commanding central defender, a goal-scoring defensive midfielder, or a skillful creator of goals.

Li Jinyu scored and Miljan hit the post once, this should be the best performance for Shandong Luneng in their preseason series

edit:
Miljan missed a single

*sigh*  Adam Kwasnik is the most useless f*cking waste of space this club has ever had.  And yes, I am including Leo Carle in that list.  Re-signing him is quite possibly the stupidest decision we have ever made, right up there with letting Jedi go.  He offers nothing in attack, even less in defence, and has a skills list comprised of "can lose the ball in record time, in ever increasingly humourous ways".

The defending for the corner was lol-tastic.  Our inability to place people on the posts is beyond irritating, and giving a five foot nothing midfielder a free header on the edge of the 6 yard box??  Not good enough.

Having said that, Redmayne is quite excellent in general play and at shot stopping.  Worth a run over Danny at the moment imho.

I'm glad he's got his act together ... he was woefull in the NYL and I'd have preferred either Nash or Matthew Nemes

Yeah, this was why I was watching him specifically.  He has improved quite a lot, talks to his defence too.

Standard Kwas post really.........He is now quite likely to do a passable impression of Messi before reverting to type

This team simply cannot defend at a level good enough to compete with the best of Asia, let alone the best of the A-League.  Anyone who saw that second goal just now knows _exactly_ what I'm talking about.  One of Wilko's finest, yet again.

Final score, 2-0.

Our attack is more flaccid than a leprosy infested panda who's snorted too much speed laced with wasabi.  Truly, truly horrid.

On the strength of that "display", the only players I'd keep would be Redmayne, Bojic, Osman (but of course, he's going), Caceres, and D-Mac.  The rest can f*ck right off - this team needs a cleanout.  Coach can go too.  (to clarify, Danny V and Matty S can stay - they were exempt from this rubbish today)
