ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Yeah - the lads look cold.  :p  And our team name literally translates as "Central Sailors".

Osman scored from a Caceres corner.  Hilariously bad defending, they all just sorta stood there and watched it come in, and Osman just titled his head and in it went.

Mrdja started.

Osman is pretty much our best player at the moment from what iv seen and what iv heard

Hope we have not made a big mistake letting him leave :-\

Oh, and Redmayne is in goal.  Nearly got randomly lobbed from the halfway line.  Has been solid otherwise though.

That's not like us at all.  ;)

2-1 to them at fulltime.  They scored the winner in the 92nd (of course).

For some delightful reason, Elrich and Rizzo were the two central defenders at the time.

Well they weren't actually put there tactically (at least, I really hope not), they just happened to be the two who'd tracked back.

Obviously this beckons the question "what were the actual centre backs doing", but for the entire season I havn't been able to answer that one.  :p

And apparently Hutch started up front with Nik, but copped a high boot to the face and had to be subbed.

Is Hutch an illegitimate child of Lawrie? Serious question, what does this man have to do to be left out of the team. What is he doing?

Understand why D Mac was benched, he is hopelessly out of form - but for Hutcho FFS?

note that we switched off concentration at the back - AGAIN

Did Caceres get a run in this game? I would've expected that if any midfielder got a run upfront, then it would've been Caceres.

I do recall Hutcho going very forward in season 1 of the A-League, so maybe Lawrie was trying to spark up Hutcho with a run in the forwards and see if he could regain his daring full bore runs into the defensive lines of the opposition. This is what he WAS doing before ruining his knee. 3 SEASONS AGO, LAWRIE!!!
