ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

On Sainsbury, what other CB do we have right now? There is no Wilko and Doig left so its only proper that Sainsbury plays there.

Reading too much into that. Of course the Chinese club wants our captain.

I though Pellegrino was a wise choice and will be invaluable over the coming campaign. It was nice to put Sainsbury next to Pat as it would be a good way to get experience.

I suspect this will be McBreen's last season, at least here and would not be surprised if he is benched for a lot of the season. I am not sold on Baird yet, I am hoping that GA made the right choice as he used to have a lot of pace. Matt, Kwassie and Bernie up front IMO.

I wonder if we will see a lot of Hutch this season? We seem to be pretty strong across the midfield.

Oh and on the Chinese thing with Wilko.... they can prise him out of my cold dead hands. Either that or a big fat transfer fee of over $1,000,000. :piralaugh:

Atomic Interesting ... comment concerning Wilko ... any news on Kwasie as well... but on Wilko my guess he is on reasonable coin ... not sure how pushed we are for cash ... but interesting comment...

Money is good in China is all I'm going to say

Decent, but was only up against Blacktown's younger players. We haven't had many SFCU users on here lately who could tell us a little more.

Central Coast Mariners FC defeated Spirit FC 2-0 at a dampish Christie Park tonight.

Goals: Pellegrino, Baird

Crowd: abt 550

Lots of subs for both sides and an American trialist for CCM

Interesting quote....
Unfortunately, Graham, the coach, talked to me after the game and told me that because of the salary cap, they cant take on any more players, but because I have been doing so well, they want me to go play for a team up in North Queensland for the next 5 weeks. I will get paid, a house and a car. And if there is an injury or a spot opens up, they will consider me. So im going to stick around and train with the Mariners for another week and then head up there and play some games. Thanks everyone for the good vibes and encouragement, especially Lauren. I couldnt be doing this without all of your support.

It's that time of year - triallist time. Apart from youth players I am not really interested. Have we ever signed a triallist?

It's quite a good little blog that Ezzell is putting together. Good photography too. He likes the band The Middle East... the dude has a good taste in music

I'm pretty sure that the photo of the Hummel gear is not next season's playing strip. They wouldn't debut it in a trial match like that. The game against Celtic would've been a good opportunity though.

Yeah nice little blog.

I hope he does well up with - I presume - Bundaberg Waves (?)

No, the strip is a training strip.

Pedj, Weemac and Travis. I'm sure there's been more too.

I wonder who is paying for Ezzell to go to Bundaberg. I thought we were broke?
