in other news, it appears the mid 90s fashion for enormous shorts is back. i think only ajax really bucked that trend, but that's because they were stuck on the 80s teeny shorts thing.

id say its because its an away kit and to avoid clashing with other sides with dark coloured home shorts(sydney, melb, nux)

Tbh Im not such a fan of the away kit, I would rather all yellow than yellow and white shorts as i feel the colours clash and dont compliment each other in comparison to the yellow and navy.

I suspect that we didn't go with thinner stripes becasue of what the Nix might have up their sleeves (???)... just a guess.
