Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Has to have gold in it somewhere dibo, all teams in ACL have to have it somewhere
Does the kit with gold carry on over to 09/10 season?  Or is ACL strip JUST for ACL?
Just the ACL.

If Gold is still required, how about a jet shaped patch on the back of the shorts, and flashes under the armpits?
Thanks Kev.  So what is the deal with there having to be gold on the strip anyway?
Idea of AFC President Mohamed Bin Hammam. Thought it leant an air of quality to the ACL. He obviously overlooked the Jets.

And we will be able to wear Blue as our away strip as both Tianjin Teda & Kawasaki Frontale both wear prodimately Blue on their home strips........

I like this away strip... Has a slight resemblance of Fenerbache's strip

But here's a CL idea, complete with a splash of gold:

This what the jersey will realistically look like as Reebok is still the Jersey supplier.

i was working from current reebok templates too. not all reebok jerseys use the exact same shape - they've got several templates.

Well other people on the forum have said it would be good to have an away blue jersey for the acl.

I was stating the fact that Tianjin Teda and Kawasaki Frontale have blue as the main colour on thier jerseys.

Therefore we probaly wouldnt be allowed to wear a blue away jersey as this would clash with the home team jersey.

But will the Mariners change their jersey too much as their is only just over a month to go and turnover from reebok is about 2 weeks for the club??

maybe they've already done it! they don't plan these things two weeks out - the strip for next season is probably finalised already, it was probably finalised months ago.

well we dont know until they announce anything, so we will just have to wait and see whats going to happen over the next few weeks.

Hopefully that means there's no problem with wearing yellow against them.
