ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

1-0

Bozanic coughs up possession on a good build up.
Common occurrence.

Mclenehan stranded in no mans land, may as well be chasing Korean girls

as I write this.

2-0

Primadonna Everton dominates, scores from a turn and shoot with Gallagher marking in the box who struggles to get goal side of his man and hold his ground.

2- nil down. What was Bozanic doing for the first goal??? Gallagher was schooled for the second. If we get pumped here, it may be a painful last two games under Arnold. I get the feeling the players couldnt give a shit now that we are out of the a-league and the rumours of Arnold going are gathering pace.

Arnie, get Sutton off. He is a waste of space, admit your mistake and move on.

Back four look shite apart from wilko and even ryan looks suspect.

Why do Asian sides always make Aussie teams look so second rate??

I think they're tired I must say... Not that that's necessarily an excuse, but they've held up remarkably, mentally over the last 6 months or so, since the sale of Mattie Simon, the initial rumours about Graham leaving, the on-again-off-again with the Russians etc... I'm starting to think that they're finally worn out. Looking at this game in particular, but generally the games in the last month or two, one thing I've noted is that passes were almost impeccable in the first half of the season. They had the vision and ability to do these amazing side changes and perfect passes through the opposing defence.
Fast-forward today you get stuff like Bozanic's mistake here.. It's been a bit like re-watching that Heart game that we probably should've lost, the boys throwing away stupid passes that they should never have had problems with etc. etc.
I'm pinning my hopes on next season, as always... They've performed stellarly this year and deserve a bit of a rest I think :)

Must have had Reddy on the plane over to help us with our mad monday celebrations.

Fk me. Cannot say I have enjoyed once tuning in from Tokyo for the last 15 games. This has been the worst.

I think they'll do better in the remaining games. Playing 120 minutes on Saturday night then playing overseas mid-week took its' toll. Thank f**k we didn't make the GF. We'd be Buckley's of winning after the last 5 days!

Bozanic hooked at HT presumably due to a costly error and lack of apathy. Sainsbury on and we move to a 4-2-3-1 with Hutch and Sainsbury CDMs. Hearfield replaces Kwas (our only goal scoring threat) and Amini, McGlinch and Hearfield play across the middle. Sutton up front by himself.

Any structure we had, went out the window with the players confused as to what space they were meant to occupy. Melb. Victory will be hoping to reneg on their contract with Gallagher as he was made to look like amatuer.

All but one goal (the pen) start with attacks down the left (Gallagher's side).

Sutton must not play in our system.

That game signifies the end of our ACL campaign for this year, and the nail in the coffin for Arnolds tenure.
