Marinators Projects for V4 2008/2009

perhaps we could have the "dan" sideways next to the "NY"
or we could have it bigger, in the same font as the "NY" but in red?

Sideways in red or something would be awesome, it would stand out more than just black would.
Maybe a different font would look good aswell.

but in making the heart yellow and blue we stand to lose interest from people who don't support the mariners...there are a lot of people who support other clubs who want to join in on the t-shirt wearing but they don't want to show support for the mariners, which is understandable. I want as many people from as many clubs as possible to join in because if the FFA see a person at a SYDNEY FC v  QLD ROAR match wearing a savedanny t-shirt they will realise that people's lack of respect for the FFA stems deeper than just mariner fans!!
Perhaps we could have two designs...wone with a yellow and navy heart and the other with a red one...

Two versions would be awesome, except it might make the price of printing go up. Albeit only slightly, 1000 of 1 version would be $xx but 500 + 500 might cost more, not sure.

I like the idea of the mariners coloured heart. How about the heart with a navy blue border and the Mariners wave football logo thing - the one on the flags you buy.. that would look hot!

Personally, I think this would be much more effective if we just stick with the red heart. Its a play on a popular design, if you change it too much it loses its meaning.

I didn't necessarily mean to take over club captaincy, who is currently holding that position?

I doubt I'd be very good or too welcome into such a position when I hardly know any of you guys personally? :ashamed:

dont need to know us personally, were all pretty much the same(apart from Bear and Rowdy)
and are all here to grow the support base.
Just thought it would be worth mentioning as a lot of stuff we have in the pipeline is along the same lines and it would be wasteful to have seperate groups doing the same type of things.
Once the nes CC is elected they will have a plan as to wht they would like to do then ask for volunteers and get it underway
