ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Marinators Projects for V4 2008/2009

IMO I wouldn't bother laminating unless you plan on keeping the red cards for the whole season.

Bear in mind a lot of jobs sound like a good idea but often don't get far once someone realises how much work they're getting in for.

This would be a great project to keep simple and achieve a good effect for little work.

eg. Buy some A4 red card, everyone with a guillotine (myself included) cut 10-20 sheets into quarters, easy as.

Yeah, a lot of smaller jobs will be more effective when combined.
Keeping the amount of projects realistic is a big task, people get excited and want do go to this and that, but we need to work together on a handful of main projects before we branch out and make other things.

I Agree, but good to know were throwing ideas/options around. There is plenty of time for alot of projects and its good to have general concensus when coming up with ideas.

I've updated the first post with a quick makeshift table.
It's hard to make a table with the ipboard code, cause I can't define HTML attributes for spacing, borders, alignment etc.

I'll see what else I can do, does anyone thing it needs anymore sections?

Shit man, what'd you do?
I don't have a laminator that I can take of premises, but someone may have one available.
Deano mentioned he had a couple his work I think, he might be able to grab one. We've got plenty of time to do it so there's no rush, ofcourse.. it would be nice to get started early though. :)

With the T-shirt ideas...we have come up with a couple of really good designs. the one that we think works best is:

but a new suggestion that I really like is also:

Fans from other teams have expressed an interested in wearing them aswell, but they wouldn't feel comfortable wearing the mariners' logo so we've left that off. let us know what you think. We plan to set up an ebay store where marinators can purchase them. Cost would be around $40 as that is the cost of getting them made!

I also had a couple of Banner suggestions. One simply reads "HIGH FIVE"...that would make a clear statement.
but I also had an idea for a banner that reads "THATS AS GOOD AS A PUNCH IN THE GROIN"

$40 seems a bit steep for a t-shirt, i think you need to do some shopping around for a better price if you want to seel a decent amount

Haha that I <3 Danny is so tacky that I just might wear it. Design needs a little work though Danny shirts would be awesome.

Keep me updated please and I'll update the lists with details as we go! :)

Talk to the person at the marinators club who organises shirts and printing they might be able to recommend someone, because they were successful with the premiers shirt and the marinators shirt

perhaps we could have the "dan" sideways next to the "NY"
or we could have it bigger, in the same font as the "NY" but in red?

but in making the heart yellow and blue we stand to lose interest from people who don't support the mariners...there are a lot of people who support other clubs who want to join in on the t-shirt wearing but they don't want to show support for the mariners, which is understandable. I want as many people from as many clubs as possible to join in because if the FFA see a person at a SYDNEY FC v  QLD ROAR match wearing a savedanny t-shirt they will realise that people's lack of respect for the FFA stems deeper than just mariner fans!!
Perhaps we could have two designs...wone with a yellow and navy heart and the other with a red one...
