we used trotty as well

as i said cheap back up when needed

kennedy would be on not much more than minimum wage

we do sign Trott as a short term backup...but for 8 games its allright to look around (long term)! When Buffon got injured a few years back Juventus brought in keeper (abbiati)for 1/2 a year...but for the game-off situation ofcourse we r gonna have a lesser gk on minimum wage as anyone HAL standard already plays 1st choice for a club (or overseas)! Kennedy aint HAL standard either@!

What, and have the risk of someone else signing him?

Also best to have the goalie IN the squad, training with the team regularly, stick close to the club etc. rather than playing a winter season in a State League then heading off for holidays, only to get a phone call... which would be a poor preparation.

I find it hard to believe that you think having only the junior youth goalie on hand as backup for the #1 goalie is sufficient!

A short term contract may not be available next season, due to the youth league starting up.

I believe, although I could be wrong, that we would be forced to use our youth goalie first before being allowed to sign a short term contract for anyone else outside the squad.

Yes, and for the pair of fine football judges  : who suggest we get rid of Wilko, he was close to Socceroos selection before he got injured.

As for Wilko, he copped a serious injury in mid season and with only 21 games, a player doesnt have the time to play themselves back to form.

There are 7 other HAL sides who would snap him up like a shot
