Fury away - 5th November

So, will Perez be fit?
If he is will Amini play?
Will Hutch get straight back in the team?

Its a tough week for Arnie IMO. There are a few calls that are really 50/50 in a game that we need to win to stay in touch with Adelaide and Brisbane. After the 5-1 drubing we gave Fury last year we really didn't play 100% again all season. Big game and one which will set us as contenders if we can put on a good display.

This was the game around the same time we won 5-1 last season - our last win until the Newcastle game many months later.

Perez won't be fit; I'm more interested in how we replace Pedj/ Porter. Hutch won't be in starting eleven unless he can play RB.

Yeah true. The next 3 away games are crunch time for us I think. Fury, Nix and Tards all away. Would love to be the team to break the Nix run at home.

From memory of that 5-1 last season, that score-line flattered us a bit. If life was just, the Fury would have been a lot closer. The goal they did get was soft, a harbinger of things to come for us.

I so hope they don't loose their way after that big win.

Fury's 1. Justin PASFIELD (gk) pending signing for CCM for two years. Will have to watch more closely now.

Not sure why we would sign Pasfield with Matty Ryan playing so well and Van Stratten should be returning from injury by next season. Chris Payne is the player from Fury I would like to see here.

Apparently Van Stratten has only signed a one-year contract so he probably wont be resigned at the end of the season.

Looks like Perez is still out and Amini to play...

I'm actually really worried about this game tonight. Our lack of pace in the backs (except rose) is probably going to be exposed by Williams, hopefully with dutchys experience we'll be ok.

God what i would do to bring Williams to the coast, I'm sure it would shock and appall the mrs

Wow, ive been fantasising for months now about seeing Doig and Dutchy in the centre with Wilko back to his original position of Right Back.....now that its finally happening, im kind of nervous!!

Would put money on a draw for this one, $3.30 is definitely fair odds, pace wise we could get exposed but we'll have to see! Glad to see Doig get a start and squash the rumours of a personality clash between him and Arnie, gives him a chance to show us why he is/isnt in the starting lineup every week!

Foxtel was cut off by my neighbour last week Sat morning. Not a drama cause the game was 20 mins from home. Missed a few EPL games.....meh. Saw the toffees match on Everton TV.

The foxtel guy is currently at my house trying to fix it. I don't know what will happen if he can't. I may need legal representation or I may need to find an excuse for a pub dinner. Either way I wont be going home tonight! :p

f**k Payne. I wanted Williams or Cernak.

Williams for me but Payne would be ok.

4 strikers McBreen, Simon, Payne/Williams & other. I think Doig will make way for another visa player up front and McGlinchey to be resigned. (please)

Williams would cost a bit more though.
