I would like to hear your comments on Sainsbury comments re the Subs in tonight’s game. My opinion… Disgraceful. You don’t single out players on national TV. Very disappointed with this comment from a senior player and supposedly our leader. And another thing…. Pot… Black.

He was just as unhappy to their face after the goal.

It’s setting and example of the standards required.

If the young ones can’t handle being called out then they should improve or quit.

Change room post match, fine. But not publicly, that’s just poor. Particularly when the blame is shifted and you aren’t taking any responsibility yourself.

No doubt I’m not the only one who remembers the run on effect on Dan Hall the season Monty ripped him to shreds and it made the aleague behind the scenes video, whatever it was called. Sure he improved eventually but from memory he almost moved on after that.

I’m the first person to say that some of these players need a kick up the arse, but again.. blaming just the young subs for that loss was garbage and did not a leader make.
