I would like to hear your comments on Sainsbury comments re the Subs in tonight’s game. My opinion… Disgraceful. You don’t single out players on national TV. Very disappointed with this comment from a senior player and supposedly our leader. And another thing…. Pot… Black.

Welcome to the big boy pants required level of football for some of the younger inexperienced players.

He was just as unhappy to their face after the goal.

It’s setting and example of the standards required.

If the young ones can’t handle being called out then they should improve or quit.

Change room post match, fine. But not publicly, that’s just poor. Particularly when the blame is shifted and you aren’t taking any responsibility yourself.

No doubt I’m not the only one who remembers the run on effect on Dan Hall the season Monty ripped him to shreds and it made the aleague behind the scenes video, whatever it was called. Sure he improved eventually but from memory he almost moved on after that.

I’m the first person to say that some of these players need a kick up the arse, but again.. blaming just the young subs for that loss was garbage and did not a leader make.

As for Dan that was worse because it was by producers. But the actual criticism wasn’t wrong.

Now Dan and Monty didn’t quite gel. But i bet Dan worked his arse off instead of complaining and when his time came to redeem himself he didn’t just take it he was one of the best in the league

I feel like the subs were the least of our problems.

The Starting XI shat the bed.

Our subs didn't have impact, sure, but seems a bit much to highlight them when the game was well and truly lost already.
