Gumps is sparking them a little bit but the boys are shell shocked.  We are definately a better side without Osman and Hutcho.

I'm glad that's over. Thankfully the AFL season has begun and the Swans have found winning form.

Complete Rubbish.

Humiliated and 8.2 could have been the scoreline.  Zero movement and very little effort overall.

Is we don't bring in some players in the summer we will DEFINATELY get the wooden spoon next season.

Ratings:

Danny 6.
Porter..3....clueless tonight
Boogs..4...treacle toes again
Wilko....3...crude hacker...like a carthorse
Huke...4...very poor but why was he at left back
Caceras..5...pretty insipid
Hutcho....2 absolutely dreadful...so far out of his depth it wasn't funny
Osman....4  gutless and lazy
Heff..2......woeful..looked like a All Age 3 player...(sorry to any AA3's)
D-mac...6...average
Mrdja....6....average

Subs:

Kwas 6...not too bad
Gumps 6...the only player I saw give and go in a yellow shirt all night
Elrich 5..didn't do much

Kwastic just missed an open goal.
Well, there was the kawasake goalkeeper in the way. But yes, almost as good as open.

How many other players got themselves into goal scoring opportunities? How is it an open goal when someone else is in the way?  Kwas did ok when he came on....the whole team were crap tonight end of story

we did not recruit well

Disco Nick should have a couple and Kwasi should have had 2

would have been happier if we had played well and lost.

hopeless

Jets will beat us behind closed doors this week

Also dont like the new way of this site can not get to the home page to review topics

why the change

he was playing centre forward..pretty hard not to get into a goalscoring position when the ball is drilled into the box.  Anyway I said he did OK ..6 out of 10.  Didn't look any worse than Mrdja really.

LOL about Gumps he did a couple of strange things in last five mins (after I posted) including a nice clothesline tackle.

at running around lots yeah, he's no where near the player he was in V1, too may people think he still is.

Your ratings?  Starting with 8 for Kwas?

You were happy with Heff, Osman, Huke, Wilko, Porter, Hutcho?  Gumps did more in his 20 min cameo that all of them put together.
And I didn't rate Gumps highly...but at least he passed to feet once or twice, crossed to his own players and completed a couple of tackles.
The other blokes mentioned were like training cones.

You are talking shit Deej.
But it shows how low our stocks have fallen when a 35yo bench player is superior to more than half of the starting team.  Gumps is not the answer for us but he crystalizes the problems that we have and he also makes Lawrie look stupid when his favoured players are so insipid and technically poor.

No one stood out tonight....6/10 for Kwas is fair...IMO Gumps did very little, it doesn't matter how Gumps plays some people will still say he had a good game.

I would agree with most your ratings except for Caceres, probably worse than a 5, Gumps worse than a 6, Elrich perhaps a 6 considering it was his first 30 minute outing for some time, and apart from that it was just generally a poor performance.  But hopefully they will learn from this and go back to basics......how to complete a pass

I dont think it worthwhile to comment on individual performances. We are a very poor football team that is playing well below its "best".

We havent taken this comp seriously, we havent invested and we are paying for it. Without serious reinforcements, I hope there is at least 1 side worse than us next season or the spoon wont have too far to travel.

Kwas was really the only one who looked like he could give a flying and I am not sure Danny can be blamed for the dross in front of him.

Yes, they are a better side than us but IMHO that is the worst 90 mins I have ever seen from CCM.

I hope they felt sick when they saw the number of people who stayed behind to clap them off.

No I'm giving my opinion which is the same as many others, funny that no other HAL teams offered Gumps a contract last year when he was out of contract? It's an opinion and simple as that.

Tonight's result was due to a poor team effort, no 1 person to blame and they need to go back to the drawing board.......we defended poorly and their attack was too strong, at times it was like they had 4 up front
