Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I am playing tomorrow (hopefully) and as a defender I would hate my hair to clash with the mids or strikers.

Its bad enough that we will all be dressed the same................

there was a few adelaide and qld youth players in the away bay last night who were very interested in joining us after our pleas.....watch this space

Are you in a position to provide details of their positions....i.e. backs / mids etc
queensland player looked like eugene dadi, so i will assume he is a striker. The adelaide player, judging by his hairstyle is a midfielder or striker.

I hope this info was helpful

Ya ... we can have a larger squad than normal because of the ACL plus some contracts need not to be renewed a bunch of talented young players could be the go .... we would still need a couple of old hard heads to guide then along  so keep Grumpy and maybe get Chris Coyne (refer previous page) ... actually that could work as LM is known to be an excellent coach with young players...Also they may be within reach cost wise... it's worked for the Roar it may have taken a season to bed down ... this has some appeal ... but I wonder how true it is...

Seems like we have some new players coming.

Coach Lawrie McKinna hinted after Friday's match that changes would be made to the team.

"We'll be assessing the boys, where they are at physically, freshen them up a bit and we've got new boys coming in," he said.

"We've got some things in the pipeline, there's not going to be a lot of downtime, we have got a big four months ahead of us now."

Yeah ... but don't get excited:

Huke, Kwasnik, Rizzo, Smith, Lewis and Sherlock.

No new ones can come in for the 3 first games on the ACL

There are only a few places available for next year.

Hopefully plus some more as it says "We've got some things in the pipeline" indicating these are new where as we all know about ...Huke, Kwasnik, Rizzo, Smith, Lewis and Sherlock.

The 'things in the pipeline' I take to be trial games, tour to china, that sort of thing ..
