Central Coast Mariners Squad for 2009/10 HAL Season

It worries me that we still seem to be trialling players.  We have players that either are injured, can't get a run or are just shit and we can't get rid of them (cough Mrdja cough).  Others will know what's going on with the extended squad but I wonder why we need new players when Caceres, D'apuzzo, Travis, Clarke can't even get on the park, and we still have Huke and Doig to return from injury.

Where are these new players going to play?  If they come on board who are we getting rid of?  What areas of the team is Lawrie trying patch up and beyond that why are we trying to do that at round 3?  Why wasn't it done during the offseason?

If you go back over this thread we have trialled heaps of players from all parts of the globe ... that LM has not panicked into signing hopeless players and held his ground is to his credit ... I think he knows what he is doing...

Think there are still 2 spots left on the squad anyway(i think!). If someone comes along who can add something, or is good cover to the squad then it's a good thing.

yes, but i doubt that the players that are on trial are keepers and we only got 2 keepers, unles LM is going to promote one of the youth keepers

Crawley reckons one of youth keepers is the best in the country..... but agree Its more likely not a keeper based on who we are trialling
