Add that to Spencers back passing/sideways movement and you have 8 players.

True - most of the HAL midfielders are a bit more physical than those two.

The other thing I'd like to know is what are the requirements for U/20s this year if we are going to have a youth league.

If we have to have three in the top 23 then assuming we resign Osman and Mrdja and Clarky we will still need 3 U/20s presumably Redmayne, D'Apuzzo and McAndrew. That leaves only one spot for better defensive cover and the 'marquee creative midfielder' or a possible cover for Danny.

If the rules haven't changed Lawrie will have some interesting decisions coming up.

yeah agreed, also drop Redmayne and then we can buy our keeper and make sure we buy another U21 outfield player i.e. a CB.
