I would have thought that being an in-house game surely the two team managers could have given the team sheet to the bloke on the mic. Here we are now debating who was who and it seems that we are no closer to getting them all correct.
The game was a good hit out for some of the players to test their condition so far and in that regard it showed who had done the hard yards and those who will need to do more in the future. The good thing is that they will have time on their side.

Will there be two games in Gladesville next week. I heard that there could be an early game with the young guns playing before the senior team. Any news on that

Yeah, to be honest, I think your getting players confused. Im not saying "your f**king wrong", but he has had a white head of hair for quite a few years. You dont go from red to blonde overnight.

I saw the official sheet it is the same as the info on the CCM website which was posted here about seven posts up. The game was pretty informal and last minute changes were allowed, perhaps though the announcer could have announced all new starter's to keep us informed.

Substitutes 6. Anthony Villazon, 9. Nathan Moseley, 10. Nathan Ralph, 11. Damien Brown, 13. Nathan Sherlock, 16. Brady Smith, 17. Ben Glachan

So which one of them was the confident back in #12?

The No12 looked v assured didnt he?? So is he Koelma??

Def. wasn't Koelma.

But #12 (whever he was) and D'Apuzzo were the 2 triallists who looked most likely to have potential for HAL level IMO

OK, solved. After reading today's Express I think it was Nathan Sherlock, who was listed and called out as number 13 but wore #12

Did any one see Matt Simon's hatrick. I don't know if it was televised or not but i think from the looks of this we will see a very different Matt Simon this season.

I think all his growth over the past 12 months clearly points to this being the case.
Which is bloody exciting ;D

After watching the lightning and spirit games I don't think we will have too much trouble scoring goals this year. Most of the guys up front don't look too bad. If Nik can make a comeback all the better - I suspect Lawrie will leave a spot in case he spots a marquee later.

However, we do look rather thin at the back. Our two starting fullbacks are just coming back from major injury on top of Viddy's retirement and Boogs likely to be in Beijing makes the cupboard look a bit bare. Add to this we have Danny missing for a third of the season and the defence really becomes an area we need to strengthen.

No one springs to mind. any ideas?

Beggers can't be choosers.

What exactle makes him a dickhead though? Because he missed a breakfast and didn't get along with Muscat? People said the same things about Sasho when he joined and there haven't been any problems with him yet.

Shame that policy can't be applied to referees.
