lawrie did host jacob burns a couple of weeks ago before the qatar game.. brought him up to the coast to catch up and show him around the facilitys and took him to terrigal for lunch etc etc. they're definatley interested but he's just recently signed a deal and moved too kakrow so it's unlikely. although probably the most likely of any 'current socceroos'.

does anyone think we need to sign another defender in place of vidmar? we've got great defenders to cover as it is, with wilko and boogs etc, but theres no more ceccoli and we're 1 centre back short. a couple of injuries back there and things could be troublesome.

YES YES YES That is not yes for three players but . . .  a big yes it is imperative that we get a central defender with physical presence and has speed as well. There has to be some mongrel at the back.

hopefully we sign another CB, AM and poss a Striker depending on the Mrdja situation. I personally would prefer to see Yorke come here as a player/coach but not be our marquee as i see us wasting that with a gamble on getting 2 seasons out of him and he is 38 after all, not real keen on Skoko either tbh as marquee. I'd love to know who is on that 10 man international shortlist lawrie has  anyway i rate our current squad and any additions we all know will be very wisely decided so we're in really safe hands

im not going to disagree with you there, i can see him going overseas for a few years without doubt. I don't think he will have a season as good as v3 for awhile and when <b>all these new players come in</b> and hopefully we get more consistency throughout the league. I can still easily see him top 10 atleast though.

Though, tarek is a godly figure when it comes to loyalty, check out 442. He said he could have easily doubled his money at another club, but money doesn't bring him happiness.
