ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Vidmar retiring?

2 points to Sensei.

Man am I gonna bet big on QLD this weekend!  ;D

Mind you Viddy retiring may well indicate Johnny signing, and if not have to say my mouth is watering at the thought of who we might sign as the minor premiers going to asia with our marqee moula!

Yep, wonder if he will stick around the Mariners and become one of the coaching staff or head back to Adelaide.??
He's already been helping out the kids- right?

Can't see him not going back to his bro myself, especially considering the biggest concern Aurelio has heading into Asia is in his defensive line... Looks looks a very good fit to me...but would love to see him stay...

Are you all sure the anouncement is Viddie?

I thought I read somewhere about three weeks ago (442, I think) that Viddie was quoted as saying he wanted to go around again next season. Maybe I was dreaming.

Fish, you bastard  :-*

who's tipped to fill Viddies shoes after he retires with the double this weekend ? (and I don't mean in Mariner Girl's heart)

IMO Boogaard will be Viddies replacement in the starting lineup. despite my reservations about his lack of height for a CB this could be where McAndrew will fit into the squad (Maybe good for man-marking quick forwards i.e. Rukavystya, Zullo, Kruse) or the other option would be is that Adelaide is overstocked in CB's for the ACL (Costanzo, Valkanis, Ognenovski, Cornthwaite having experience and Mullen, Erdogan and Susak being newcomers) and they might need to release one.
