ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

still light in quality defence IMO

need to sign both a quality stopper and and a fullback to push the others and cover for injuries

at least he not going to sign with another a-league club

he does own land on the gold coast

might be holding out for word on what is happening there

. is it just land? does he like camping?

. any type of house he would own is likely to take some time to build - 1 year +

. don't know if he would be the hands-on type

We will need to sign wide players in midfield and defence and no strikers, a complete reverse of last season when all we wanted were strikers.

interesting to see whether there are any aussie scouts at the African Cup?

I wouldn't mind seeing  a couple of young african players at the mariners

Caceres would be our first South American signing isn't he?

Born in Argentina and played much of his early career there. Wikipedia defines him as Argentine-Australian.

More players sign on.

Defender Nigel Boogard, midfielders John Hutchinson, Mile Jedinak and Bradley Porter, and striker Matt Simon all extended their stay at the Gosford-based club until the end of the 2009-2010 season.

Most players at the African Cup of Nations play in france, holland, belgium etc, even if in lower leagues. That said, There is plenty of good african talent. PLenty of great african talent around

can't see much point unless they're significantly better than locals - simply because there is a limit to OS players for both HAL and AFCCL.

As would be the assumption for all imports.

True. There is a rumour that Michael Bridges might play for them, however I dont think they would pay a transfer fee for him in addition to his >$650,000 salary.

3 million reason's why Aloisi won't be at the Mariners next year, each one a dollar. Off to Japan.

I suspected as much and it would not suprise only disappoint. Japan's better than another A-League club and if he goes hopefully he hates it and comes back to us.
