And in reply to this post Schwarzer has done it in the past to play 90 minutes for the socceroos.

Did Schwarzer get off a plane from England to Australia and play for the Socceroos 4 hours later?

Razor, this is starting to get a tad tedious. You've made your point, we all know you're anti Bozz.

Even though you don't like it, it seems as though he will play on the weekend and will be signed either as a guest player or perhaps longer, who knows.

Well said!! I'm definately tired of replying to innane posts from people who clearly are not able to look at the current situation with any logic what so ever.

Peace

And being such a close friend of Schwarzer's, you know he was never tired from training after a long flight lol

Generally by saying he will be a bonus implies that you think he will be successful. So  doesn't that contradict what your saying? I mean why else would you say it?

Its irrellevent if these players were trialled or signed, they played... Just as bozza will play this weekend.

I agree with your juniniho statement I was merely refering to the amount of games that he missed, however Kossie wouldn't even play him towards the end of the season... benched for Santalab for christ's sake.

Do you see what I am saying? No other club wanted to touch him. Surely there is a better option.

I said if he is successful he will be a bonus. I didn't say he would be a bonus. Big difference.

I agree with Razorback. There is no way that Bozza could possibly be any good. It should be plain to everyone that Lawrie and Lyall are making a major stuffup and I can't understand why they can't see that themselves. Clearly, Redmayne is a going to be a far superior option for the Mariners and if they put Bozza on the field this weekend I reckon we will easily leak more than the 5 goals we did last time with Trott.

To be honest, while I badly want to beat Bling, I couldn't give two hoots if we start Bozza in a psc game. What I do know is all Bozza has to do is catch one ball and I'll be cheering and laughing my ass off. Whether he will prove good enough or better than a first string HAL keeper is really a question that I can't see really being realistically answered for at least a few more months. So this weekend for me will be just for the pure joy of the game, the joy of seeing the boys run out at BTS again, and the joy of a fallen hero making a comeback... and any given football season deals out enough pain... that sometimes it's just nice to lower your bar, and just bask in a little simple ol joy!!!

Get into em Bozza!!!
LOL
Cant wait!!!

I do not think it will matter who is in goals this weekend. Our defensive lineup is very stretched.
But I guess it will be easy for you guys to blame the keeper.

i dont understand what this anti-bozz is about.
he was once known as one of the best.
i dont think it will be a problem, would he have returned if he wasnt up to it ?
we should be proud that lawrie and lyall have brang an amazing keeper to the coast
even if he fails in goals he still brings motivation, and experience to danny and redders.
lawrie and lyall have never really made a big mistake in management they let aloisi go,
but he was after money and shampoo ads, and jamie mcmaster, that season was going
no-where why not give him a shot, they got it right at the start of last season not re-signing him. i think they got it right and wouldnt be doing this if they didnt think he was an adequate replacement, and bozz wouldnt have returned if he didnt think he was up to it.

Ursus, in case you didn't notice, tongue was planted firmly in cheek.

Didn't notice, too little sleep and too early in the morning.

I tend to get a bit allergic to the knocking by idiots who would not know their arses where on fire until they smelt the smoke.

i don't care if he's royalty - if he's shit, he's shit. if he's good, he's good.

there's nothing more to it than that.

Regarding Boz, either give him half a game or piss him off.
Is it possible that Creepy could cover when Danny is suspended?
