ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Now that a lot of the European windows have closed can we get loans of unwanted players from (hopefully higher) OS leagues since our window is open?

Jaden told me the club cut him out......so he is gone sadly. Bouman was looking to move to Indonesia but Covid has been savage over there......but I think you can assume he is cut too.
Both 100% serviceable squad players so we have to assume its Pikey f**king up things again.
Or Monty believes there are players in the NPL's currently trialling who would be better.

Monty is very adept at spotting potential I would argue, he was very successful with the youth boys, I am encouraged by the young VISA signings, which I hope aren't just the token abstract "may one day building relationships with foreign club" ones i.e Jankovic

or maybe we want to promote a youth player who's cheaper
Id suggest they feel they have youth who can do the backup role (while also showing our academy they will get a chance at game time) and the imports are intended to be starters which leaves Casella and Boumann out in the cold.

We need to remember the money for Muller and bringing those imports in (the process and flights aren't cheap) needs to come from somewhere and nothing has materially changed with our finances. So far we're doing alright.

Would that push Hatch further up the field permanently or Jake the third LB and more into the setup for development

I hear we signed Jake Farrell from the academy to a senior contract. Left back. Others here would have better information on him.
Very happy with this if true, Jacob has stood out in the LB position in the games I have watched. Poised and very stylish on the ball but also prepared to put his body on the line when required. As PP says probably too raw atm for first team football but a great prospect for development in the environment that Monty will have created.

Exciting if true. Green is right but has a great football brain and athleticism. Will be a first team player in time if he trains hard under Monty I have no doubt.
His coaches over last few years, including at the football school, rate him highly
