ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Breaking news is Tom Rogic has decided to leave Celtic.... rumours he wants to come home.... maybe just maybe errr maybe ... we are a chance....
You'd have to think he wouldn't leave Celtic without something already in place. Unless there's other things in play like family. You'd have to think that after the season he's had he be looking for more first team football and a good pay day. Not sure that's us although I'd like it to be.

He's 29 according to Transfermrkt. Might be another couple years before he'd join us....unless we've really got more funds available. We do have some history now signing a couple players from the SPL.

Given he is from Canberra, maybe Peil / Bernal might have some connection. Seems to have missed plenty of games with injury over the years and that is only likely to get worse with age so there are some risks to investing a big chunk of our wage bill in him. Maybe old matey DGB will fund it out of the supposed marquee fund

Biggest block to us signing him though is that he still has a year to run on his Celtic contract so you would assume they would want a decent fee

I reckon Ange has helped him recognise his potential and has facilitated a move into a stronger league - or at least to a big pay upgrade.

Aside from family reasons there is no reason for him to come back to Aus yet.
