Quite light on fullbacks in that starting line up.

Suspect Simon will start as our golden boot, Urena to ten, Muller to eleven and Nkololo (yolo!) to the bench. Not convinced a French third division player will be a starter early days.

Maybe - or nominally play Simon on the right and Goddard on the left - leaving Muller and Urena where they are.

That said the French leagues are notoriously underrated compared to other top European leagues

No, just no. He should be moving in to the super sub role we anticipated a few years ago rather than experimenting with him out wide. I could handle Muller to RW where he has plenty of experience.

A long time ago, motor has a few more miles on it. You don’t see a lot of older blokes in those roles. The wizard is an icon but he isn’t getting any younger and expecting a 10 goal haul again would be very optimistic

So 3 guys that can play right across the attacking midfield. Looks like Boz might be charged with a lone holding mid role the way the squad is shaping up. Either that or a 4231. Or Muller will be asked to play upfront.
