ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I dunno, can someone smarter than me put a likely line up with Jem in the team?

Seems like we have a really stacked midfield

I’d welcome Jem back if it happened, but I also don’t like the recycling of players. So I’d prefer a different visa player to get excited about.
jem didn’t play for almost 18months after us and then did a season in league 2 and then nothing again. Not active enough for me to be totally honest.

Goddard is a dead ringer for DDS he tends to beat the same player 2-3 times before releasing the ball…
There’s one significant difference imo - at least in his highlight reel. It’s not habitual. He does release first time balls too. And when he’s backtracking he looks to be doing that because he’s working to create enough space to play a great ball or hold the ball until there’s a run from another player or he has a target to hit,

Not fanboying, but that’s what I saw.

He has been playing, just not in pro league.

Had some good things to say about living here and playing with us.

I would be happy to have Jam back as a holding midfielder. Direct swap for Gianni. Knows the league. Still only 32 and not overplayed last few years.
From that article I now see why we were so bad until last year. Jem said they trained until about 11am and then it was too hot so he spent the rest of the day at the beach!! I would expect that between recovery and video sessions, fitness sessions, ball skills, shooting and tactical sessions the players should be putting in at least 30 hours per week plus game day.
