ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Just looked up Jem Karacan online for details about him.
32 year old midfielder
2020-21 played 24 games Sc**thorpe League 2
Current team : Central Coast Mariners FC.
Where did you see that? I'd be happy to see him back, played well for us.

"New signing are on the way - yes overseas.
Our budget size is 18 players on the roster"

How many have we got on the roster at the moment?

transfermarkt has him listed as without club
I had a look on Wiki yesterday.
I was just wondering how long he went without playing at all after he left us.

Left us at the end of the 18-19 season.
Signed for Sc**thorpe Jan 2021. Left last May or June and doesn't look like he's played since.

I just find it weird. He's not a bad player. Yet goes without playing for so long.
Too choosy? Or no one wants him?

I thought the same thing after he left. Bloke was clearly good enough for an A league gig at another club and would have been miles better than some of players Victory bought in, so how does that happen?

Main thing I can think of outside of some underlying medical issue is his wage or other demands don’t match his level but you’d think he would have figured that out after a few discussions fell through. If he’s missed out on 2 seasons of pay that would have to be more than he stood to gain by holding out for a higher contract.
