Not a Mariners fan but did see this on Twitter, would you want him back?

Not for me, overrated and injury prone. He's very quick but his touch is not where it should be and he doesn't finish enough of his chances.

You have to be careful when feeding the allegation

If we do sign Trent I would want to sign him as a cheap squaddie - but I believe that options for the second/further years should be based on performance.

He is injury prone
He is a better player than when he left.
He would benefit playing with Marco.

If he doesn't stay fit we can let him go.
If he doesn't perform we can let him go.
If he stays fit and meets the right metrics then the option years should be a bit more generous.

That's a big leap unless you know that the other party has never met Ruon. True, untrue or somewhere in the middle.....allegations like that unfortunately carry instant weight this day and age. Would be interesting to see the comments on that tweet.

I really hope the club is going to support Ruon through this whole episode, or it could leave him utterly shattered unless there are people around him that he can talk honestly to.

I am really struggling to believe he is the sort of person that could act in the way that is being alleged but I still believe in the presumption of innocence.

I'd hope that given the nature of the allegation the silence is due to a proper investigation being carried out by the police, and that both parties are receiving the support that they need.
