Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Looks like we may not see McBreen next year.

Oh well, no drama as long as CCM get something in exchange for him staying over there.

players already shying away from arnold
Can't they all just get a visit from the 'we've got a contract so get fucked' fairy?

Mariners clearly do not believe in said fairy.

"never stood in the way of a player's ambitions" etc. etc.  ::)

They wouldn't do anything of the sort. He'd simply slot in to Eugene Dadi's vacant space in the cap and squad (six-figure salary + target man), sans foreign spot.

Then why would we give him up Jaza, if we get nothing from it?

Because any of:
*No point keeping a player if he doesn't want to be there
*Arnold may prefer to spend that cap money his own way
*McBreen may have no interest in playing for Arnold (pure speculation)

Could all be true.

If you get Carle and SvD, you can piss off and play in your own comp lol

That seems to be the plan. But no Corica, no Colosimo, and no Bolton next year as well.

It's OK, you'll play Heart at least once at home ;)

Reddy is a good keeper (if you get him) just a horrible carnt of a player.

True, and he's not looking for a last pay day either

lol. I feel we are paying farrrrrr too much attention to this BOGUS 442 article that just had Coyne stating - yeah we'd like to keep him Of course tehy would. Good attitude and he's banging in goals. There's just the slight problem of his two year contract - and yes FFC he's got family our ways.

Unless Arnie had serious replacement lined up that we would need Mc Breen's dollars for...
Then there's no way he won't be coming over...
The fact he's in form and Perth want to keep him, only strengthens the fact we are very unlikely to cancel his existing contract.

In that article he said he wants fast players up front. I dont no weather he will fit in with his plan. I'm sure Ifill would be great we made a offer must have been declined more dollars im sure we can get him. An what about Song he is a fast winger and comin off contract ???

Ifill has re-signed with the nux, inside the cap, for another 2 years.  Doesn't matter how much money you have.

Troisi is a leftie ... he is fast ...maybe I am dreaming too much...

Depends... how did he go with Arnie at the Olympics and other NT commitments?  Because this is a question that is going to keep coming up with any potential signings for your lot.
