Gives us heaps to play with.

We need new RB and LBacks.  Another Centre Back for when Doig is injured.
Centre Mid (probably Marquee).  Left and Right wing...starting 11 standard.
Another Striker  to go with Disco, McBreen and Matty.

Looks like we may not see McBreen next year.

Oh well, no drama as long as CCM get something in exchange for him staying over there.

players already shying away from arnold
Can't they all just get a visit from the 'we've got a contract so get fucked' fairy?

If that happens who have Perth got that we want who is off contract? Doubt they would offload one of their stars...... now just wait for Nik to start banging them in for Melbourne.

Well Naum Sekulovski has been a more reliable provider than half of our midfield, and you can bet London to a brick I'd never before imagined I might find cause to say *that*!

Contracted fro two years already - so $$ if they want it enough...
But Mc Breen wants to come back to the coast for his family roots as well apparently.
So think this is unlikely.

A-League clubs aren't allowed to pay transfer fees to each other so we can't make any money off the deal

Doesn't have to be off contract. They can release as we would do to McBreen.

I hope this does happen and we get a new Mile on the coast.

Wouldn't be surprised at the two signings being Aloisi and Sterjovski

he's already resigned but thats not the point.

why would you want to release Brad Porter??

I'd take Shroj for McBreen. Not because I don't like McBreen, but if he doesn't want to be here there's no point. Besides he probably realises he won't get the service from our mids that he's getting over there.

Nik'd be happy to have Sterj here, he'd no longer have the biggest nose on the Coast :)

But why would Perth give up Shroj or Mile? They would be pricks and offer Pellegrino or something.
Although I'd take Sikora anyday.

They wouldn't do anything of the sort. He'd simply slot in to Eugene Dadi's vacant space in the cap and squad (six-figure salary + target man), sans foreign spot.

Given he is a scum native, isnt one of his reasons for signing to be nearer the caravan park they undoubtedly live in?

(Yes, I had a very bad day at work)

Then why would we give him up Jaza, if we get nothing from it? Also fits in with the signing announcement. Following the Mariners you qhickly learn you never get something from nothing, there always has to be that bit of sacrifice about it.

Take the coaching for example. Lots of us have wanted a new coach, and what do we get?

Obviously that's what Perth get out of it, but our board would be stupid to say, "here have him" without either benefiting some way from Perth, since they are taking our asset or having a suitable replacement for him.  But how many quality strikers are around and coming off contract? Not many.

Aloi$i to Adelaide, little brother syndrome, always wants to do what big brother does

Given that the way he feels about the way they treated his brother, I doubt it.

Will remain at SFC under the cap I reckon
