Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Not sure why on earth Holman would leave the Eredivisie to come back to the A league?

Though would love to have him. For all his bagging, he'd show super twat Culina right up I think.

Chippers would be a BRILLIANT signing for us.

We need a left back - though could play LM of course - but would also combine well and help young Lewis flourish under his tutelage I think.  But perhaps the most important is that he would make for a fantastic captain/leader.

Chippers would be a brillant pickup for the Mariners, but at what cost???

Suggestion during the Perth V Roar commentary tonight, that in light of the new coach next season, McBreen might be staying in Perth.

haha, no surprise there to be honest

yes he would, at what cost ? depend on what role he would be in, player, he would be pushing for a marquee spot, but TBH IF we get him i would see him doing what clarky did, playing and coaching

When he was signed the reports were that he was very keen to be at CCM as his family is in Newcastle and this if effectively 'coming home'.

Hope that is still the feeling, though given how well he has settled in at Perth some form of temptation may be there.

1) Perth would want to keep him...no brainer!
2) He may want to stay there for 2 reasons
          a) He is going well (he is enjoying the system there...)
          b) He doesnt like the sound of GA
3) THE MARINERS- I cannot not see in any way why we would give up this player...he is signed to a contract, and is effectively in form. Even if our coach has changed, unless he is hell bent on bringing in HEAPS of his own players, there is no way we would give him up. (Although if we had to get rid of one due to coach wanting space...I dont see us being able to get someone to take Simon or Mrdja as easily)

No.3. is all that matters tbh
And essentially I personally want to see him in yellow

Ali Abbas from the jest looked the goods in the derby.  Liked how he took his chance and had a real go.  I thought I heard he was coming off contract.

I would welcome this. Shite signing TBH especially when Mrdja was re-signed.

Contracted fro two years already - so $$ if they want it enough...
But Mc Breen wants to come back to the coast for his family roots as well apparently.
So think this is unlikely.

I think at Perth he's proven he's a decent signing for us.
Certainly looked better than Matty has been.

Do Liam Reddy and Chris Payne count? Or maybe we'll sign Rostyn Griffiths, because having seventeen defensive midfielders is never enough.

Brady Smith and Nathan Sherlock?
Simon Colisimo and Ufuk Talay?
Harry Kewell and Lucas 'I'm sorry I sulked at the Asian Championships' Neil?

Sorry, shouldn't jest, the news that we have lined up a major sponsor and we will have two major signings, and memberships are out 'soon' is all good.

Two major signings will be announced in the next couple of weeks.

can confirm they are nikolai topor-stanley and jade north.

See, I _want_ to say you're taking the piss, but with this clown we've got in charge it would not surprise me one bit.
