ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I do think the boys will play well tonight. They showed quite a bit of promise against GCU, and had McBreen not scored twice early and rattled them I think it would have been a more even contest against Perth. I think there will be an emphasis on defence tonight, 1-1 draw IMO. Would LOVE a win, of course!

What a waste of time the line up is, It really sums up the problems of the season, Lawrie not prepared to make any changes unless forced to. What are we going to learn from it that will help us build for next season? We have missed the play offs so does it really mater if we finish 7th or 10th surely we should be giving more of the youngsters a run.

couldn't agree more.....this was a great opportunity to give the Youth a go, and assess them for next season.  we have nothing riding on this (there is no penalty for being wooden spooners) so why not ?

Let it be known that I want us to win and win well but there is a large part of me that would like to see the youth get as much game time as possible and have the Scum kick the shit out of them (metaphorically speaking)... Controversial I know, but what I'd like to see at the end of the game is for the future stars of the Central Coast Mariners Football Club to be as bitter and twisted about the scum as the rest of us. I'd like them to stew over this game for the entire off season so by the time next season arrives, they'll be busting out of their skin to get on the park to make amends.

PASSION... that's what I want. I get the feeling that tonight we'll be just going through the motions. f**k that! I want us to fight, take no prisoners, kiss the badge in front of the squadron, and when the going gets tough... well, it goes without saying. Give me that every game and I'll be happy. Oh, and some quality football would be nice too.

The youth still have a lot to play for and it would be stupid to rip them out of what could be a  championship season to cop a wooden spoon with the seniors.

Speak for yourself, I want to avoid the spoon at all costs. It is basically made official that you are the shittest team in the League. Remember how we all gloated a year ago when the Scum got it? It would be great to continue the bragging rights over them that we'd never been the arse-end-arnolds of the League. True, I do think Adelaide will do no better than draw with the Scum on Friday, but I still really want to win tonight for the added reason that our arses are officially safe. GAME ON!

Porter hits the cross bar!! That's two easy shots he's missed. Has there ever been a worse shot for goal than Porter?

Meanwhile, Haliti has been sent off - two yellows. Jets down to ten men and the wooden spoon looking like its heading over to South Australia.
