I do think the boys will play well tonight. They showed quite a bit of promise against GCU, and had McBreen not scored twice early and rattled them I think it would have been a more even contest against Perth. I think there will be an emphasis on defence tonight, 1-1 draw IMO. Would LOVE a win, of course!

couldn't agree more.....this was a great opportunity to give the Youth a go, and assess them for next season. we have nothing riding on this (there is no penalty for being wooden spooners) so why not ?Bladesman said:

Let it be known that I want us to win and win well but there is a large part of me that would like to see the youth get as much game time as possible and have the Scum kick the shit out of them (metaphorically speaking)... Controversial I know, but what I'd like to see at the end of the game is for the future stars of the Central Coast Mariners Football Club to be as bitter and twisted about the scum as the rest of us. I'd like them to stew over this game for the entire off season so by the time next season arrives, they'll be busting out of their skin to get on the park to make amends.
