The only good thing about this game was that Kwasie will never take a penalty again. He missed and it didnt effect the result, shit weather or not.
Has Dutchy ever taken a penalty cause he would be better that Kwas.

Have there been any other A-League matches called off other than the 3 involving the Mariners?
There have been 2 matches between the Jets and the Fury (last season in Townsville due to bad weather, and this season in Newcastle after the motorcross wrecked the pitch) that have been called off.

My experience is backs take better penalties than forwards...

Perez can clearly take them. But otherwise... Weemac maybe?

The FFA were going to take their time to determine that. In the post match interview, Miron pleaded with the FFA to choose a rematch date that avoided a clash with the Asian cup in January.

I can see why no one goes to GC games, having to walk 1.5 kms from the shopping centre in the rain... :(

nice stadium even 2/3rds empty it got noisy for the free kick and the odd GC chance. Should have heard them all laughing at boijc when he air swung, classic

LOL because Kwasnik has never scored a penalty for us hey, he scores 6 in 7 or 8 games and people love him and then people abuse him......yep that's Kwas

I've never felt comfortable watching Kwas step up for the pen. He missed the goal. What more do we need to give soemone else a go? How about Rose? Bozanic? Amini? Perez? McGlinchey? Bojic? Why limit ourselves to Kwas?

I think we have had this discussion before. Which I believe was the last penalty he took.

No more penalties for Kwas please.

I also think Dutchy would be worth a go if Perez is not on pitch. Even Amini, he has a great strike.

Don't think anyone was abusing Kwas were they?
Though I understand Deej in the past Kwas burning has certainly been the sport of choice for many.
But isn't it back to Hutch burning again, or did I miss the memo??

Anyhoooo...

I think Amini is a good thought Scottmac if Perez isn't on.
But agree with others that a player like Dutchy you would think would handle the pressure of a pen very well.
Wouldn't feel very confident watching Kwas step up again tbh, and I think thats fair enough opinion after the last two.
