Why??? ...is the question. Guessing because they're either not passing on enough of the proceeds to the people who have spent their own fortunes ensuring there is even a product to sell. Or its possibly imbalanced between the clubs - but that seems unlikely.

What's the bet it will be clubs financial support will be raised but only in proportion to the minimum cap spend required meaning clubs are no better off financially than before and will continue to lose money unless in a big city.

So the deal has doubled. But the funds going to clubs has only gone up by just under 40% and minimum cap spend goes up too significantly offsetting any gains.

WTF is wrong with these people. I'm sure club owners have been told incessantly to hang in there and weather the storm - and this would just be a enormous slap in the face.
