ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

fark moi...poor tesco, wonder what fkn odds Sportsbet would give you of that happening ?...I have to ask though, isnt it too cold to be using the sprinklers?...and (or) the head groundsman is legally blind...i'm sure the boys at BT know if a sprinkler is busted

Normally I reckon it would be too cold, but we've had an incredibly warm winter (for Dutch standards) so far, so using the sprinklers wasn't that crazy. I do not know if the head groundsman of FC Utrecht is blind. I highly doubt it. ;)

http://www.footballaustralia.com.au/centralcoastmariners/news-display/Ryan's Brugge move complete/68242

"Despite Ryan being due to come off contract tomorrow, the Mariners still managed to negotiate a sizeable transfer fee for the 2013 Hyundai A-League Championship winner. The Club can confirm the transfer also includes a sell-on clause."
I've been digging too.

The Mariners also managed to secure a sell-on clause in the transfer of the promising 21-year-old goalkeeper to Club Brugge.
The fee was reportedly $180,000, and the on-sell clause also gives the Mariners up to 20 per cent of his next transfer fee.
"Up to 20%".
That's not too bad, by the time they sell him his value should have gone up. If he's No.1 keeper at the WC and plays well........

At least we know there is some sort of sell on clause.

There can also be FIFA sanctioned development fee % for young players that apply regardless of transfer contract arrangements

Personal reasons? I wonder if that is code for club pressure?
What sort of personal reason would make you throw away a potential first Socceroo cap and a chance at a WC spot??

Grab your chance Wilko!
