If you're going to take the moral high ground it would be advisable to be more accurate in your assertions.

For one, not "everyone" bagged Simon. I've always supported him and it was only at the end of the season where I commented that he is starting to concern me and needs to score soon. I don't think its bagging someone to state the truth.

Secondly, not "everyone" bagged Porter. Sure, there were probably more bagging him than supporting him but thats not "everyone". And you mentioned Porter's two goals but failed to mention that he was the last player in defence for Melbourne's second goal and obviously proved inaffective against Thompson (a tough ask, but that was the job at the time). In my opinion, its fairly clear that Porter shouldn't be a defender and I can't see any problem with discussing that type of thing here.

Again, if you're going to take the moral high ground, then you need to provide a balanced view yourself or you're just contributing to the crap.
