Aloi$i didn't get the Socceroos to the World Cup - Schwarzer did. I've never understood why he got the glory and not Schwarzer. People expect you to slot it home - no one expects a keeper to save it.

Agreed. Think for a moment - if Viduka wasn't such a choker and scored his penalty, the second Schwarzer save would have gotten the recognition it truly deserves.

Well, if Aloisi had scored a goal or two in the GF, I might back you up.

Fact is, Aloisi came to us based upon some good money for limited games for which we were supposed to get some goals in return. He stuck around for the minimum time required by his contract. During THE game for which his experience should have counted the most - the GF - he didn't score.

For mine, Aloisi and CCM don't owe each other anything. I guess you could argue that he helped us to a premiership (nothing minor about it), but he came on board as a striker and he was paid very handsomely for those games so I would be very upset if we got nothing from it.

Give him heaps I reckon. Especially if he is going to do anti-dandruff shampoo commercials LOL

SO....Alo$i was doing his yabber on THE WORLD GAME yesterday AND he came up with yet another reason as to why he left the coast....I mean other than him saying he wants to go to a club that will win trophys...NOW...he says the mariners cant grow any more....and he went to the flying circus with the goal in mind to fill SFS up every home game....geez....his been drinking shampoo again

Couldn't give a toss what Aloi$i says personally, if only his knees were as good as head and shoulders!

He's good for the league, he'll score goals, but he's not worth the reported $1,400,000, he missed a number of sitters last year IMO, but because of his experience and skill was still able to find the back of the net.

Remember his miss against Newcastle in the dying seconds in the home semi? Shocking miss!  His header that went over the bar when we should have had a penalty in the GF? Another poor attempt, anyone should know and especially Aloi$i that you play to the whistle (if he was so sure it was a penalty)

Anyway, I look forward to abusing him
