ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

1.4m is a shitload of members, Jesus.

How valuable he is to them really depends on the marketing department. If they use him well enough, in a place the size of sydney, wether by merchandicing, people going to games, members, people watching on tv, sponsors dollars, he is of big enough profile to make that money back for them.

Yeah I know what you mean Jesus, memberships is only a minor thing, commercially he'd be worth a bit, especially if we had him in the ACL........but if we spent $1.4 we'd be in a lot of financial trouble lol

Agreed. He is worth more to them than he would be to us. Purely on market size.

As i said on the chat, I would rather watch Mrdja return from injury whilst Dylan and Sasho bang em in, instead of wasting 1.4 on that dumb f**k.

He does less than he thinks.

"Can't grow any more" ? LOL, he has no idea then.
Don't you just love proving people wrong.
He's going to eat those words along with his antidandruff shampoo!  :eek:verhead:
Every time this Aloi$i opens his mouth he gives us more reason to bag the shit out of him.

Can't wait to see us shut his trap in front of a close to full house at Bluetongue and then in front of an empty(apart from the away end) :p SFS! :

All fair points and you're right.

Serious doubts over the mangement acumen of that club to make it work though. Will be happy to be proven wrong. For the good of our game, I hope they can convert their investment instead of taking the Sydney public for granted and treating them with contempt. And I'm not talking about the garbage they dish up on the pitch.

Hahaha, he'll play 10 games this season at most...... karma is a bitch like that.

He won't do much good as a lone man up front for Sydney anyway - that heinous 4-2-3-1 shit is likely to rear it's ugly head again.

Agree with Serious. Be lucky if he plays a dozen games this season.

I think his knee injury is far more chronic than is being let on.

Money aside, I bet it was a big reason in us not going hard to re-sign him.

Whether we went hard or not I get the feeling we have been lucky in not signing him.

Aloi$i plays less than half a season for Flying Circus and struggles. :piralaugh:

Mrja gets over his dodgy ticker and is a-league top scorer.

Yes John a couple of us told you that at the end of season preso, but that doesn't mean we won't give you shit!  :eek:verhead:
