Hi mate. We thought it would only be a matter of time before we saw some of you guys on this forum. Welcome.

In response to your question, the way the FFA (Football Federation Australia) has structured our competition is different to that of other overseas models such as yourselves. Whereas champions are decided by who tops the league ladder at the end of the season, here in Australia, the champion is decided by who wins the grand final. The Newcastle Jets won the grand final last season, but the Mariners finished top of the league.
