ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

A-League Transfers and Rumours

So many opportunities have been opened up for players through the A league. And now they  seem to be drawing steadily better terms, with a wealth of youth coming through, Im personally no too worried about the talent drain fears anymore. Some exciting marquees, new teams and derbies, decent transfers... our league is really doing a great job for its fans and its players.

Meggsy to GCU?

In the Danish Superliga, Michael Beauchamp - tipped for a move to Gold Coast United to replace Adam Griffiths - wasn't involved as Aalborg BK beat SonderjyskE 1-0 at home.

Don't go there, come back to us!!

Gold Coast would surely have to pay for the transfer, since he is under contract?

Very Marineresque arent they.

I think Fury might be a bit more competitive than everyone thinks........

Agree. I think they will do pretty well, the climate should be an advantage at home, and teams will probably underestimate them

Yeah perhaps, but not a chance in hell they'll spank us like that. Looking forward to the Adelaide matchup, the reds will struggle for goals as ever I'd say, but their defence will be the strongest test that GCU have faced so far imo and will be a good yard stick for us.

Apparently Victory are either in talks with meggsy, as are the GC, or viduka after freeing up some cap space.

Meggsy? Fits the need that melbourne have, but shit that one will hurt me more than Tommy P if it happens. They would both not have much room in their cap though, seems a bit of a stretch.

As for Dukes, i do not expect him to play football in Aus ever again. Shit, Fulham and Portsmouth couldn't get him to sign why would he sign for an Aussie club and suffer the media scrutiny that goes with it. He is looking for escape and will only find it in his homeland.
