ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Juninho was just about as good as Fred in my books- the difference was however Fred played for a half decent club- lol at Sydney benching Juninho- easily the best player to have worn the baby blue in HAL!

Using their A-League careers only, Fred was the better player IMHO, Kareem.

Juninho was at the end of his career, Fred had plenty to prove. Those differences showed in how they played.

Fred was more creative, was hungry for the ball, grasped opportunities with an almost desperation.

Juninho was injury prone, lazy for a midfielder, complained about the style of the game played here, demanded he be treated like royalty. Both he and Sydney should have done their research before committing to paper. Has he played for another team since?

With Elrich's injury, Kwas would have been a regular starter this season.

Whatever some people might think of him, you would play him before Ossie or Smitta wouldnt you?

Wonder if he will go to NQ?

Hard to pass smitta since he has the 2nd most assists in the league. His crossing is brownyesque

rumour of sash to NQ

Been in the pipeline for a while hasn't it?

I thought one of the reasons Sash signed for us, was we were close enough to Sydney, where he lives with his family.

He's also been quite hungry for us this season, and he even comes back to help with defence at times too! (don't choke Jaza - it's true!).

He is getting on, so maybe he's feeling out the market with the new clubs to see what money is about?

At this stage of his career, any payrise would be the best option for him IMO

The expansion might actually extend a player like Sasho for one season more than they would have got, with 8 teams. He's not had bad injuries with us, can still compete and do his job. Good senior player and squad member to have.
