Would be a coup for North Queensland to sign a current Socceroo! Fergie looks like he has been working hard but i find it hard to believe they will be competitive in their first season.

what a terrific symbol to have a player of aboriginal descent leading a football team in north queensland

let's hope his signing will get more of these talented athletes playing the round ball and not the egg ball

This is huge for football in this country. To give our indigenous youth guys to look up to that may play at a world cup is massive. The FFA now need to flog our game to death up there. Lets hope they do!

I know he's been too slow at LB lately; i don't really rate him.
However Harper and Cockerill were saying how they think he goes alright at CB.
For a while I could see their point, but noticed him way up the pitch once or twice and thought, if newcastle were to break now, Perth would be f**ked.
It's one thing for an LB to be a bit slow, but for a CB to go wandering into an LB position and then be too slow to get back...

I would rate him at our club, in a cb role, and possibly left back if Clark could kick the shit out of him.

Could this be a possible replacement for Heff? Is he on the outer from us? I could see GC going after him, and you KNOW Heff would love to live on the GC ;D

oh god no.......NTS is a pathetic excuse of a soccer player.....the only reason he is in any NT squads is because he has a left foot.....but he is slow......he has no perception of whats happening in the game....his passing is crap.....the only thing going for him is he is big.....but definitely not mobile.  I think he is one of the worst players in the A-league (and admittedly  there are some bad ones) and I cannot imagine  why Lawrie would even consider NTS as a Mariner.
