ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Tuesday 17 February in Gosford (I presume as AFC required grounds of a reasonable standard).

Now planning visit down from Sawtell to Sydney for dental work, around this game.

Mariners Members tonight get the first exclusive look at our playing kit for the 2015 AFC Champions League! Central Coast Mariners players will sport a fresh look for their 2015 AFC Champions League Play-off, with a classic sash being introduced to the Club’s Kappa kits for the first time.

The Mariners’ first choice kit for their fifth foray into Asia’s premier Club competition features a yellow top with navy sash, teamed with navy shorts and yellow socks.

The Club’s second choice kit features a white shirt with navy sash, in addition to white shorts and socks.

And Liam Reddy and Matt Nash, the Club’s custodians, will have the choice of all purple, all pink, or all green goalkeeping attire throughout the competition.

Each kit maintains the V-neckline introduced by the Club for Hyundai A-League season ten, and features unique detailing on the upper back – four palm trees to signify the club’s home and history. Moreover, the writing “AFC CHAMPIONS LEAGUE 2009, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015” has been added to chronicle the Club’s proud involvement in Asia’s top team tournament.

The Club will shortly be announcing our sponsor for the AFC Champions League Campaign and this will be added to the shirts before delivery.
Central Coast Mariners supporters will be able to pre-order the first choice, second choice, and purple goalkeeper shirts - more information will be released on the club's website tomorrow morning from 10:00am.

Have a close look .. logo appears to be the old one (which is fine by me) but note that Central Coast does not appear over the word Mariners at the top! Interesting, or not?
The Central Coast text on the original logo is pretty fine, and I honestly can't see from the image whether it's there or not. I'm not saying you're wrong, I just can't tell either way. We'll know when we see a higher res or close up shot.

Central Coast text is definitely above the logo gents, no doubt about it. Just hard to view on a dark background on a low-res image that's all.

Wasn't a fan at first glance but it's starting to grow on me. Would probably look better when there is a sponsor to fill in the gap.
I'm a fan of the basic designs too so it's way better than if they tried to do some weird-ass fancy crap with big pictures or gradients all over the shop.

I'll take your word for it Timmah. I've tried to enhance it with IrfanView (imaging, editing software) but I still can't get enough clarity to see Central Coast above the logo. Oh well, just have to wait and see a larger picture or one in the flesh, so to speak. (Oh, I like the kit too)

Why didn't they make the Central Coast part white so it would be the same as the Mariners and so it would stand out?

I think this a definite move away from calling the Club Central Coast Mariners. In a lot of the NSO marketing the Central Coast part was minimal or not existent.

i'm inclined to agree.
i just had a look at the logos on past shirts and while the 'central coast' and the 'mariners' have always been opposite colours they both stood out.

that said i reserve the right to change my mind upon closer inspection.

Unless the wiring is blue on the 1st & 2nd kit & purple on the keepers kit I really am concerned.

Still absolutely love the kit though.
