ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

An historic win to the Mighty Mariner`s :vhappy:

What an absolutely enthralling game!!
Our guys gave everything tonight & showed that we are not finished in the league just yet.
Every player played his heart out for the "YELLOW" but for mine Nick Montgomery was superb.
He tackled everything that came near him ,ran his socks of & drove the Japanese into the turf time & time again.

Despite going for long periods without the ball we were able hit on the counter & it proved to be a great tactic with a tremendous goal to Sterj after a awesome through ball from Kim.

The second goal was all Sterj though. From out near the sideline on the club side he hit a magic shot with the outside of his right foot which swerved around the outside of the keeper. This was a 1: million shot & certainly a candidate for goal of the year.

The highlight of the night though belonged to the magnificent YELLOW ARMY. Words fail me to describe how good they were tonight.
For the leagues smallest support group they rose to the occasion with an increased number of bandsmen/women & ab sound that any orchestra would be proud of.Also their interaction with the small crowd was amazing.

In the seven years I have supported the MARINERS this was their ultimate performance.
Stand up & take a bow PP & the YELLOW ARMY . You were simply the best!!!!!!:overheadl:

PS . Those security fools should be banned from the ground, utter imbiciles.

f**king hell. What a night to be in a work meeting. Watching replay now, but bummed that I've got a three match pass in my wallet and still missed this.

Yay, midweek fisting
HEH.

On an interesting note, watching a replay we seem to be playing a slightly different defensive shape - sitting a little deeper in something between a 4-1-4-1 and a 4-5-1. In that shape, I don't think we care all that much when the ball's with even their fullbacks tonight, but we press as soon as they get to midfield.
