Well the starting line up and formation is a given...
So... errrrrmmm... bench...

Amini, Kwasnik, Doig, Henderson.

Perth are hurting and will be DESPERATE for a win.
Should be a serious battle.
Perez likely to be targeted.
What tactics/elements of play do people think are critical for us to win this match?

Primary element to win - score goals!

Seriously, we need to score early to keep them playing catch-up. Us going behind early could be just the tonic they need to get back to their best.

We also can't give them free passage into our final third like we did last game, we have to make them work to get out of their own half. That way they'll have to resort to long ball which will negate their quick front men and Fowler.

The other thing I'd like to see is Kwassie getting a start alongside Big Mac, so we have some variety. Mattie coming off the splinter in the second will be angry and determined to prove a point. Having him fresh & running at tiring defenders will be frightening. Kwassie won't go the 90, so sub him at 70 or 75 with Lewis or even Musty if WeePat is still firing. Either of those youngsters going at the same tiring defenders who are being worked over by Matty should be a sight to see.
I'd love to see WeePat & Musty going together as well.
All this is probably a dream, but it would be good to see if it happened.

We have a great opportunity for all 3 points, despite Perth's recent form they will come good soon you'd think. Fowler has been poor this season IMO and Mile has gone off the boil but in all fairness our defence has been very average last 2 games, plus we're a little short on match fitness.

If Dutchy, Wilks and Giffiths have a good game we'll be ok, we'll create chances but IMO how much longer will GA persist with McBreen and Simon? 4 goals between them in 17 games is not a good return, I know our striking options are limited but our current front 2 are not scoring enough.

Our record at SFS is also not fantastic, 2 wins, 3 draws and 6 losses (this includes GF's)

I'm wondering when the 'Hutch for striker' idea might resurface inside Mariners HQ.

No, I'm not kidding. Something's gotta give, surely.

When it comes time to makes subs id like to see both perez and amini on the field.
Swap Amini for Simon around the 60th minute with Perez to push up to striker alongside mcbreen with Amini in behind or play a 1 striker formation with Perez and Amini playing in behind McBreen

Prefer the "release him from his contract" idea personally.

Ahh you've always made me chuckle Serious. B)

Deej, happy not to assume, your post has me a little excited...as a change to our upfront pairing would be nice to see.

I wouldn't mind a 4141 with Amini and Perez on and a lone striker.

Ryan

Pedj - Wilko - Dutchy - Rose

Griffiths

Weemac - Perez - Amini - Bozanic

McBreen

Exciting but bloody TINY midfield

Or otherwise perhaps a 4231

Ryan

Pedj - Wilko - Dutchy - Rose

Griffiths - Bozanic

Weemac - Perez - Amini/Lewis

McBreen
